Hi all! I’m Natalie, this years President, and I study Geography, now going into my fourth year. I’ve been playing tennis since I was 8, and my favourite part is definitely the social aspect, having travelled and met many of my closest friends this way. Manchester has been great for this, and I am very much looking forward to another year with such a fantastic group of people!

Anton Myachin
Hi everyone, my name is Anton and I’m a 2nd year biotech student. The tennis society played such a key role in my first year of uni, that I couldn’t pass up the chance of being more involved in it this year! I started played tennis 15 years ago and have loved it more with ever year, from teams to social tennis, the UoM tennis is the place to be.
So, come down to some sessions and socials, get involved, make some friends and have some fun!

Hi everyone, I am Thomas and I will be your General Secretary this year. I am in my third year and I study Mathematics with Financial Mathematics. I have been playing tennis for since I was about 10, throughout my years of playing I have never been part of a club more inclusive and entertaining that this one. I look forward to a year with you all on court 😊

Hello, I’m Jack, a second-year mechanical engineer, and I’m thrilled to be this year’s treasurer. I’ve been playing tennis since I was 7 and have enjoyed playing both competitive and social tennis, especially playing alongside close friends in team events. I’m so excited for the year ahead of us and to share a court again with lots of brilliant people.

Hello everyone, I am Sid, and am the Finance Officer this year. I am a 4th-year Materials Science and Engineering student and have been part of the UoM Tennis Club since 2020. I have been on the committee for the last two years and I absolutely love this beautiful sport. I have been playing tennis for more than 12 years now and I love encouraging people to play any sport as being involved with sport teaches one a lot and plays a key factor in shaping one's career.

Hi all, I am Maria and am one of your Social Secretaries, I am a 2nd year Economics student from Norway! I started up with tennis here at UoM to make sure Casper Ruud has some solid competition for best norwegian tennis player. Hey I’m Charlotte, one of the social secretaries this year and I’m a third year Business Accounting student. I started playing tennis when I was 6 because my brother played and I wanted to beat him! Safe to say I’ve never looked back and tennis has been a massive part of my uni experience in the past two years making some amazing friends, can’t wait to make some more this year!

Yo! I’m Lorenzo (Renz), an MSc Infection Biology student and one of your three social secretaries for this year. I started playing tennis in the first year of my undergrad at UoM and it’s been absolutely core to my university experience. Regardless of whether you’re an advanced player or someone who just wants to try something new, what really matters is that you’re having fun. So, with the variety of social events we have planned for this year, we hope you’ll have a blast!

Hi, im Jumana and i’m a second year BA Architecture student. I’ve been playing tennis since the age of 7, playing both doubles and singles with my twin sister, ultimately fuelling my competitive spirit as well as shaping me into a team player. If I’m not in the studio pulling an all-nighter, I like to spend my time on the courts. During my time abroad in Doha, Qatar I have taken on several large fundraising initiatives and look forward to leveraging the skills I have acquired to support wider communities and deliver impactful results.

I have met so many amazing friends through tennis, especially since I have joined UoM tennis. From trying tennis for the first time to joining a team I couldn’t recommend the club more, and you will definitely make some amazing friends and memories along the way.

I've been playing for 12 years 🎾(from 10 years old, was planned to play badminton but the net is too tall, so I started to play tennis). Can't wait to join in the best club of UoM again. I’m Camila, I'm in my second year of biomedical science, and I will be the Health and Wellbeing Officer. I’m from Costa Rica and moved to Manchester last year for uni. I started playing tennis when I was around 8 years old. I grew up watching my grandparents play all the time while succeeding in the sport and I wanted to join them. I have been playing and loving the sport ever since with a few breaks in between these last few years.

My name is Maya and I am in my second year of studying Neuroscience. I have been playing tennis since I was 6 and for me Tennis has always been one of the most important aspects of my life. I’ve had experience coaching Tennis, in an American summer camp, on top of playing for the University teams. My other interests include live music, thrifting and radio. I’m exited to be a part of the tennis committee and have the opportunity to coach, train and play with the wider community.

Hi I’m Emily, the new equipment secretary. I’m currently in my second year of studying Medicine. I first started playing tennis with my Dad for my eighth birthday present and haven’t looked back since. And don’t be fooled I may be small, but I pack a mean forehand. I enjoy playing tennis, socially and competitively, and am looking forward to meeting everybody this year.
